Sigma Alpha Epsilon Freshman Scholarship
At SAE Mass Delta, our creed, The True Gentleman, guides our every decision. The creed was originally written by John Walter Wayland, as a submission to a contest in The Baltimore Sun, asking readers to submit their best definition of a true gentleman.

In the spirit of our creed and it's creation story, our yearly scholarship asks the men of the WPI freshman class to respond to the idea of the true gentleman. Tell us in 500 words or less (about a page) what being a true gentleman means to you. There are no right or wrong answers, we just want to hear what you have to say!

This scholarship is open to male WPI students in the class of 2020. Applications are due October 16th. Winners will be announced the first week of B Term.

First Place: $200 in scholarship money
Second: $100
Third: $100
