You must apply to attend Discover Southwest Illinois by May 27, 2022.

Please note that you will need to submit a separate application to attend the 2022 SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington, D.C. Acceptance to participate in a SelectUSA Spinoff event does not guarantee an approval to attend the Investment Summit.

Once you submit the following Discover Southwest Illinois application, you will be contacted by Edie Koch (ekoch@mciledc.com) within one week.

This spin-off event is free and includes meals and round-trip ground transportation between spin-off activities for guests who have booked at the recommended hotel. We will have a block of hotel rooms reserved and will provide this information to the registered companies/individuals. Attendees are expected to book their own hotel rooms and pay for their own lodging costs.

Attendees are expected to provide their own air transportation from their home to St. Louis Lambert International Airport and then on to the Select USA Summit in Washington D.C. after spinoff event has concluded. Ideally, guests should arrive at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) on Wednesday, June 22nd and depart from STL on Saturday June 25th.

Ground transportation (approx. 30 min.) to and from the airport to the designated hotel in Southwest Illinois will be the responsibility of the attendee. Public and private transportation is readily available. Southwest Illinois Trade and Investment Council would be happy to make recommendations on options.

Thank you for choosing the “Discover Southwest Illinois!”  Spin-Off Event. We have some great things planned for your two-day visit. To maximize the value of your trip to our region, we’d like to tailor Day 2 to your specific interest and needs as indicated on day two of our agenda. A description is required for each option you select to help us in our planning for that day.

To that end, participants can customize their visit by choosing one or more of the programming options below for Day 2 (Boxed lunches will be provided on bus or at meeting site).
