Shuttle Information:
The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is a huge event, with no parking. Because of this, DSD offers all volunteers a free shuttle from the meeting location below.
- Meeting Location: Lakewood Elks Lodge #1777, 1455 Newland St, Lakewood, CO 80214
- Arrival Time: Please arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled shift to allow time for check-in and the shuttle ride to the festival grounds.
- Shuttle Details: The shuttle will take you from The Elks Lodge to Sloan’s Lake and back after your shift.
- Parking: Free parking is available where the shuttle departs. There is no volunteer parking available on-site at Sloan’s Lake.
- Action Needed: Please let us know if you will or will not ride the shuttle below.
Dress Code:
- Shirts: We ask you to please get in contact with Barb to purchase your shirt for $12.
Shoes: Closed-toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops). - Cooling Neck Wrap: Bring one if you have it — DSD has a limited amount available
- Other Tips: Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are highly recommended.
Rules and Reminders:
- No Service Dogs: Please do not bring service dogs or personal pets to this event.
- Water: Water will be provided at the booth. Please bring your own refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
