IVECM: Interprofessional Values & Ethics Competency Module Sign-Up

WHAT:

Learn with, from, and about other healthcare profession students across campus in preparation for collaborative practice in your future! In IVECM, students work through a case scenario on interprofessional teams (mock ethics committee) to discuss the ethics their profession brings to an IPE team, as well as their own personal values, to support making difficult ethical decisions.

WHEN:

Monday 4/7/25; In-Person 5:00-7:00 pm

BONUS/ DOUBLE DIP POTENTIAL:

Completion of all 4 modules (by the time you graduate) will earn you an IPE Fundamental Badge. This is an easy way to earn a badge that can be added to your CV/ Resume/ Social Media (i.e., LinkedIn)! The Fundamental Badge will also count towards the UW CIPE IPE Path of Distinction Program (UW IPE PoD).

ITCM (Teamwork)- Next offering is fall semester: Serves as an introduction to teamwork and other health/ social care professions.

IRRCM (Roles and Responsibilities)- Next offering is fall semester: Students dig deeper into IPE to learn and come together around the roles and responsibilities each member brings to create a strong IPE team.

ICCM (Communication)- Next offering is spring semester: Students learn and practice skills for meaningful and skillful communication within interprofessional teams as well as with patients and clients.
