The Muskegon Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is committed to serving all students who reside within the MAISD service area. We welcome homeschool student participation in countywide programs and services like the Muskegon Area Career Tech Center & the Muskegon Area Promise. To enroll your student, or for additional information on these programs, please visit our website or contact us at (231) 767-3600.

While it's not required, it is highly recommended to register as a homeschool either with the Michigan Department of Education or through the MAISD. Beginning Spring 2023, registering a homeschool with the MAISD is required for homeschool graduates to earn eligibility for the Muskegon Area Promise Scholarship.

This form is to be completed by all parents or legal guardians who are educating their children at home. Completing and submitting this registration form will fulfill the Promise eligibility for homeschool students noted above.
