The Boater Ambassador Program is a volunteer opportunity for individuals who are both engaged with boating in Washington and are passionate about conservation of marine wildlife in the Salish Sea. Whether you are a recreational boater or paddler, a marine researcher, or a seasonal fisher, you could be selected to be a boater ambassador in your community. Selected ambassadors will conduct outreach and education in the Washington boating community about rules and best practices for boating in waters shared with the endangered Southern Resident killer whales and other marine wildlife.
