The Student Committee of the Children's Literature Assembly (CLA) of NCTE is hosting a webinar entitled "Book Bans: Who, How, and Why?” on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 3:00 - 4:30 PM EST, via Zoom. During the webinar, panelists, Dr. Nadine Bryce, Lester Laminack, Dr. Rachel Skrlac Lo, and Dr. Wendy Stephens, will share their knowledge and experiences as they relate to the decision-making processes behind how books are banned, by whom, and for what reasons. Following the panelists' presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions to and engage in discussion with the panelists.
