This year we are electing Secretary and Vice President of Membership. According to the OCAEYC Bylaws:

"The Secretary shall keep or cause to be kept at the principal office or such other place as the Board of Directors may order, a book of minutes of all meetings and actions of the Board and of committees of the Board of Directors, with the time and place of holding same, whether regular or special, and if special, how authorized, the notice thereof given, the names of those present at Board of Directors and committee meetings and the proceedings thereof. The Secretary shall also serve as the Parliamentarian for board related business."

"The Vice President of Membership shall coordinate reports from NAEYC regarding membership; apprise the Board of Directors of membership services, activities, and concerns; verify and maintain a list of Memberships; organize a membership table for each annual conference to disseminate Association information and recruit new members; and ascertain that membership reports and fees are received, recorded, and forwarded in a timely manner."
