Vehicle Registration for Denville Library Trunk or Treat, Sunday, October 25th, 1:30-4:30 pm (Rain Date - Sunday, November 1st, 1:30-4:30 pm) at Lower Level Bloomfield Avenue Municipal Lot
πŸŽƒ This registration is for individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to participate in the event as a decorated vehicle / trunk and give out individually wrapped candy (non-peanut, please!) and/or non-food treats.

πŸŽƒ You do NOT need to have a registered vehicle / trunk to have your child attend the trick-or-treating portion of this event.

πŸŽƒ Kids who will be participating in the trick-or-treating portion of this event will be able to sign up for a timed entry ticket in October.

πŸŽƒ Registered vehicles need to arrive by 1:30 pm and will not be able to exit the parking lot until after 4:30 pm to ensure the safety of all our participants.

πŸŽƒ There is no theme, but please make sure your decorations are child appropriate. No blood or gore and no weapons, real or fake. Other than that, please go all out!

πŸŽƒ Prizes will be awarded!

πŸŽƒ All trunk participants are responsible for the set up and break down of their own vehicle. All decorations and trash must be cleaned up by the end of the event.

πŸŽƒ There is no electrical support available for any trunk decorations.

πŸŽƒ We anticipate approximately 120 children attending in staggered entries during the trick-or-treating portion, which runs from 2 pm to 4 pm.

πŸŽƒ COVID-19 precautions:

πŸ•ΈοΈ Properly worn face coverings are required at all times for ages 2 and up
πŸ•ΈοΈ Vehicles will be spaced out in every other parking spot and individuals must maintain social distancing
πŸ•ΈοΈ Individual hand sanitizers will be distributed
πŸ•ΈοΈ Entries for trick-or-treating will be staggered to ensure proper spacing and avoid crowding
πŸ•ΈοΈ An adult must remain with your vehicle throughout the entire event
πŸ•ΈοΈ Treats must be distributed by the same adult at each vehicle throughout the event OR placed on a table so children will only touch their treat (no reaching into a bowl)
πŸ•ΈοΈ In accordance with Denville Township guidelines, all participants must sign a waiver

πŸŽƒ We know these are unusual times, but we also know our patrons will make the best of this situation to have a safe -- and FUN! -- Halloween event.
