GRANT APPLICATION- When this online application is submitted, it will be submitted to the SSD Grant Writer and EFS. The grant, all documents and all materials received through the grant are Summit School District Property.
SUMMIT SCHOOL DISTRICT MANAGES THE GRANT MONEY- SSD is the fiscal agent for all grants, receiving and disbursing all funds. The Grant Writer is the financial contact and all awards should be issued through this office. The Business Services Department will set up the appropriate accounts based upon the grant award. No Grant award should be given directly to the employee. If this happens, it is the employee’s responsibility to submit the funding to the Business Services Department. Each grant is accounted for separately.
DISTRICT AND BOARD REVIEW- The grant application will be routed for internal approval by members of the District Leadership Team, EFS, and PTA/PTSA/PTO/PTSO. All grants in the amount of $10,000 and above require Board approval.
