Conference Theme: INTEGRATION OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE UNIVERSITY AT THE LIGHT OF SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are pleased to invite you to attend the ICUSTA Biennial Conference 2022 in Mar del Plata, Argentina with the theme of: INTEGRATION OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE UNIVERSITY IN THE LIGHT OF SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS.

On this ocassion, the Conference will take place in order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of FASTA (on October 7, 1962), and the 30th anniversary of  FASTA University (on April 10, 1992).
The meeting will be held on October  12, October 13 and October 14, 2022 at FASTA University in Mar del Plata, Argentina. We would be honored by your attendance at this event.

The registration period is open from April 29 to August 29, 2022.  
In following with previous agreements, the following standards for travel subsidies apply:
+ ICUSTA will cover the cost of accommodation and board for two participants per ICUSTA member  university (rector and head of the International Relations Office) for two nights of stay in the conference  hotel.
+ We also would be very happy to welcome the rectors' spouses. Cultural excursions will be arranged  for spouses.
+ You will receive a reservation link so that you can directly request your nights of stay with the hotel. You  will have the option of adding more nights at the hotel, before or after the conference, but please note that  ICUSTA will cover only two nights from October 12 - 14.
+ Participants who are not members of ICUSTA will have to bear the costs to participate.

As we address issues of scholarly and student exchange, building stronger institutional links and networks, and considering future innovations, we are called to ponder on how our activities reflect and advocate for the values of Thomism in our universities and civil societies. We will ask for your active participation, sharing your experiences with us throughout the conference, and will provide a separate call for panel speakers.  

As we said, the 2022 Conference marks a wonderful opportunity to celebrate FASTA University’s 30th anniversary, at the jubilee year for the 60th anniversary of FASTA, its owning and founding institution, deepening our identity as Catholic universities founded in the spirit of St. Thomas Aquinas, and strengthen cooperation among all member universities.
