Answer one of the questions below with a minimum of 150 words: 1.How have you shared the importance of Confirmation with your child? 2.What is the hope or vision you have for your child after Confirmation? Please be honest, there is no correct or perfect answer.
Our hope and prayer is for the Confirmation process to deepen your child's relationship with God, as they connect with other believers, discover their gifts and talents, grow in their faith, and begin to see the impact God desires them to have on the church, the community, and the world. They are committing to: 1. deepening their relationship with God and the church by fully participating in Confirmation; 2. meeting with a Confirmation mentor who will guide them through resources, practices, and steps that will help with the development of spiritual habits; 3. attending church and Confirmation regularly; 4. taking the next step in faith; 5. completing a Confirmation faith statement. As a parent, by agreeing below, you are stating you understand and support your child's commitment to the Confirmation process and you also understand that if your child does not fulfill each commitment, the date on which they are confirmed may be delayed. Do you agree to this commitment?
