Seattle Bike Disco Campout 2026 Registration
Thank you for your interest in our third annual Seattle Bike Disco camping adventure!

We've reserved the group site at Manchester State Park for the evening of Friday, September 18, 2026 through late-morning Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Note that we are limiting this event to ~80 people, so please share with your friends and submit soon! We'll be closing this form as soon as capacity has been reached.

Timeline
  • Registration will close on Thursday, September 10 (but register as soon as possible so that we can have an idea of headcount)
  • Final details will be sent out by Friday, September 11
Food / Drink
  • If possible, the group rides will be stopping at a grocery store on the way and folks may organize mini group rides to other grocery stores.
  • Food options near the campground are very limited; if you are a careful eater (not a trash panda), it would be a very good idea to bring all the food you need for the weekend, or do your own research for finding and acquiring suitable food.
  • We're planning a cooking a group dinner for Saturday night (vegan and meat options).
  • All other meals are bring your own.
  • We'll have hot water and coffee for the mornings, but no food will be officially provided.
  • Everyone is encouraged to buy/bring food, snacks, and drinks to share!
Costs
  • Everyone will need to purchase their own ferry ticket ($10 round-trip for the Fauntleroy Ferry) upon arrival at the terminal. (If this presents a barrier to your participation, discuss it with an organizer.)
  • We're asking for campers to help cover expenses (such as the campground reservation costs) with a suggested donation of $30 – pay what you can, and if you truly can't, don't worry.
  • If you can afford to do so, giving a few bucks extra to support someone who can't pay is very welcome!
  • Donations will be collected via Venmo or PayPal unless alternate arrangements are made.
Group Ride
  • There will be two group rides starting at Occidental Square and riding to the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal in West Seattle, leaving Friday afternoon and Saturday mid-morning.
  • You're welcome to ride along, meet us at the ferry, or head directly to camp.
  • For the return trip, there will be a bunch of brunch buddies heading to Port Orchard at 11:30am:
    • from here folks will take the foot ferry to Bremerton (~$2).
    • if there isn't capacity for everyone, groups are welcome to spend time exploring this small Washington town.
  • If you must get back on time, it's safest to take the ferry to Fauntleroy, as it will always be able to take any number of bikes.
Informational Meeting
  • We will hold an informational session prior to the campout, date and time TBD.
  • See last year's bike-packing presentation for some information (all relevant for 2026 except the date/time details).
Rules
  • We'll be camping rain or shine.
  • No one should arrive before 3pm on Friday, September 18.
  • Everyone needs to be off-site by 11:30am on Sunday, September 20.
  • Amplified sound is not allowed at the campsite.
    (Acoustic instruments welcome!)
  • Kegs not allowed.
    (Smaller quaffables welcome!)
