Role description:

We are looking for a Director of Communications to lead our Communications Team. As a director you will be responsible for shaping the communications and engagement of The Peterloo Institute and determining the impact of our research on structural racism and regional inequality. You will be responsible for developing our communications strategy, deciding how we can use social media to engage and grow our audience. The successful candidate will also be tasked with managing the Communications team ensuring proper and regular communication within the team. You will also help with the coordination of external outreach throughout the institute, overseeing event planning and maintaining stakeholder relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity to be right at the heart of the Institute, supporting us to amplify our research!
