Timely Topics- September
Have you ever wondered what types of supports are in the schools for your student and your family?
Have you ever wondered what happens when your student needs academic support during school hours? What if your student or your family is going through a difficult season, how can the school support you?
Maybe you've asked what happens when your student goes to the school nurse? Or maybe what snack and meal options are available to your student? What if you need language support in communicating with school staff?
The Department of Student Support Services offers a wide variety of student supports and services to all families, students, and staff. Some support examples include alignment of academic standards, social-emotional support, health resources and behavioral expectations, in order to help every student achieve and reach proficiency.
