Anamosa Virtual Academy Application
Students participating in this program are considered full-time students of the Anamosa School District. The following is a program overview for 7th-12th grade students. Edgenuity is the online program platform. In addition to completing the coursework, the student is responsible for attending a weekly check-in meeting with the online student group and program supervisor at a scheduled time. Due to limitations of the online platform, all courses offered onsite may not be available in the Anamosa Virtual Academy. The district is working to expand their online offerings, students enrolled in A.V.A. do have the opportunity to take courses onsite or attend Kirkwood programming. Please note, participation in onsite programming or Kirkwood requires in-person attendance at those designated locations. Also, students also enrolled through A.V.A. may participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

Steps for Enrollment
1. Complete the following information below.
2. Administration will review the application and set up an intake meeting.
3. If approved, A.V.A. program supervisor will send out an informational email with the next steps of enrolling in classes, how the meetings operate, and answer any additional questions you may have about the program. 
4. If attending onsite courses or Kirkwood, a meeting with our building counselor to work through the necessary steps for enrollment in those experiences will be set and completed.
