Connected2045 Long-Range Transportation Plan Update
The East-West Gateway Council of Governments has begun updating Connected2045, the long-range transportation plan for the St. Louis region. The long-range plan is updated every four years to address our changing transportation needs.

The plan guides transportation investments for each of the eight counties in our region: Franklin, Jefferson, St. Charles and St. Louis Counties and the City of St. Louis in Missouri and Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair Counties in Illinois. Connected2045 is based on 10 Guiding Principles, a set of regional values that help determine which transportation investments best meet the needs of the region.

Additionally, there are many recent developments, such as emerging technologies, that will impact the transportation system in the future. We need your input to help us analyze the impacts of these changes.

Your input on regional values, our current transportation system, and the potential impacts of new technologies on how we travel is very important to us.

Thank you.
