PL Interest: Coding With Scratch
We are making plans to launch some new professional learning opportunities. One course being considered is for educators who desire to teach students how to code using a simple and fun programming language called, Scratch. With Scratch, users can program interactive stories, games, and animations — and share their creations with others (see video below). Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. Though Scratch has an elementary look to it, students of all ages, including college, have enjoyed coding with it. So that we may gauge interest and make scheduling decisions, please provide some feedback.
I want to be notified when dates/times are set.
I'm not interested in this. I'm just procrastinating from clearing my email inbox.
Summer vs. Fall
I want to get this over with during the summer months.
I love my vacation time and would like to participate in this at the start of the new year.
