Pullman Arts Commission - Application for ArtFest Logo
The Pullman Arts Commission invites artists with a tie to the Palouse to apply for an open call to create a new event logo. In preparation for its 10th annual celebration, ArtWalk is being re-branded to better reflect the variety of arts (performance art, music, ceramics, photography, sculpture, culinary arts, etc) on the Palouse and capture the unique characteristics of this dynamic community event! ArtWalk will now be called Pullman ArtFest: Celebrating the Arts!

Honorarium: the selected artist will receive a $250 stipend

Deadline: December 31, 2018

Art should be vibrant, eye-catching, easily read and reflect a wide range of arts. The words "Pullman ArtFest: Celebrating the Arts" should be included. Art needs to be scalable for use in a variety of print and digital publicity including social media. Examples of printed publicity can include flyers, brochures and banners of various sizes. See attached photos of a sandwich board with vinyl banner (12" x 48") and a publicity flyer.

The Arts Commission will ensure application of art meets the following criteria:
1. Be appropriate in size, scale and material (format) for the environment in which it is to be placed.
2. Be durable.
3. Have high resistance to vandalism.
4. Be maintainable at a reasonable cost.
5. Be screened for content prior to installation (use).

Use Rights:
Artists retain copyright to their own images. The artist whose work is selected for this project grants the Pullman Arts Commission nonexclusive rights to use and reproduce submitted art for exhibition purposes and for the purpose of marketing this event and related programs.
