TIPPPs Health Program Workshop

The Teen Initiative for Promoting Preventive Practices (TIPPPs) is an educational program geared to prevention, early detection and risk reduction. TIPPPs leverages subject matter experts and professionals throughout the community to provide exciting and engaging education regarding substance and alcohol use and other high risk behaviors to the youth served through the workshop. In addition to substance and alcohol use topics, experts educate participants on the importance of tobacco prevention, disease prevention, and overall health promotion. The TIPPPs program offers participants the opportunity to engage with and learn from area experts with a passion for youth in our community and has a positive rippling impact on our community.

When: April 6th, 2024

Time: 10AM-3PM

Where: Ophelia Garmon-Brown Community Center 2647 Freedom Dr. Charlotte NC 28208

Registration is FREE and only available for youth ages 11-17 and their families. Workshop includes an awesome take home toolkit and lunch. Parents are encouraged to stay and participate in a youth trafficking and teen dating violence workshop. This program will also include lunch and plenty of vendors to explore!
