**GRADUATE CHECK-IN AT GRADUATION: Graduates arrive at Red Rocks at 8:00 a.m. All Graduates must check in with the Graduation Coordinator, EHS Campus Supervisors and/or Jeffco School Resource Officer/Police. Upon check in, graduates will receive information about where to line up for the processional.

1. MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE: May 17, 8:30-10:00 a.m.: All graduates will attend and participate in the mandatory graduation practice on Tuesday, May 17 in the gym. is a MUST in order to receive your cap and gown. Cap and gown pick up will be at graduation practice on May 17.

be requested to leave the ceremony immediately.  It will then be necessary for those students to
schedule a conference with their parents and the principal in order to receive their diploma.

8. PARENTS, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS ETIQUETTE:  Please keep in mind that this is a formal
ceremony similar to a wedding ceremony.  Please remind your friends and family members to
refrain from loud yelling and screaming during the presentation of diplomas.  This is a once-in-a-
lifetime opportunity for your son/daughter’s name to be announced and heard in this formal
setting. You may certainly applaud and recognize graduates as they enter and exit the stage. Thank you for your understanding, support, and respect for the ceremony and our graduates.

Over the past many years, Evergreen High School has been recognized for graduation ceremonies that
respect tradition and honor the graduates and their families.  We ask that you help respect this tradition
and make this year’s graduation a special, memorable event for all of the graduates, their families, and
their friends.
