2023 Boys Travel Basketball Tryouts

This year's travel basketball tryouts will be held starting November 5th

Tryout Details
Players are expected to attend both sessions.  Players should wear a reversible, numbered rec basketball jersey to each tryout session, and bring their own basketball.  If a player does not have a jersey, one will be provided for use during the tryout, however the supply is limited.  Parents are asked to attend a brief introductory meeting to get an overview on the program. 

Other Important Information:

  • Pre-registration is required for all participants and is available via this form.
  • All parents are requested to review the Parent Code of Conduct prior to completing registration.  Practices will start following team announcements in preparation for league play on or around December 1st.
  • All Travel Basketball players in 4th through 6th grades are required to participate in the Recreation Basketball Program conducted by the USCAA.  Registration for Recreation Basketball is anticipated to be open starting in November for the season starting in early January and continuing into the first week of March.
  • While the program budget has yet to be finalized, fees are estimated to be approximately $200-250/player.  This cost is separate and in addition to costs for the Recreation Program mentioned above.

Sunday, November 5th at Upper St. Clair High School
12:15-1:30: 8th Grade Tryout #1, includes parent meeting at 12:15
1:45-3:00: 7th Grade  Tryout #1,includes parent meeting at 1:45
3:15-4:30: 6th Grade Tryout #1, includes parent meeting at 3:15
4:45-6:00: 5th Grade Tryout #1, includes parent meeting at 4:45

Tuesday, November 7th at Eisenhower Elementary School
6:15-7:30: 6th Grade Tryout #2
7:45-9:00: 8th Grade Tryout #2

Thursday, November 9th at Fort Couch Middle School
6:15-7:30: 5th Grade Tryout #2
7:45-9:00: 7th Grade Tryout #2

Sunday, November 12th at Upper St. Clair High School
12:15-1:45: 3rd Grade Tryout, includes parent meeting at 12:15
2:00-3:30: 4th Grade Tryout, includes parent meeting at 2:00
