Walton HS Marching Raider Band 2022 Spring Training and Color Guard Audition Registration

We are so excited to kickoff our 2022 Marching Raider Band!!!! Our Spring Training event is the perfect opportunity for any student in 8th-11th grade to *test drive* marching band and see why so many of our students choose to participate in Raider Band! Attending Spring Training is not an official marching band commitment, and commitment day will come at a later time.

Winds and Percussion students will meet Mon - Fri: attendance every day is not mandatory, however we strongly encourage everyone to attend as many days as possible.

Color Guard Auditions will be going simultaneously during Spring Training, and will be Tuesday-Friday of that week. Band students who are interested in guard are encouraged to attend Monday with their instrument and Tuesday with the guard.

Student Checklist to bring to Spring Training:
-Athletic clothing (with athletic shoes)
-Sunscreen
-Personal Water jug pre-filled (insulated, ½ - one gallon recommended)
-Hat
-Lanyard/Name Tag (will be provided to everyone on the first day)
-Instrument/Equipment (some instruments do not have to be brought - see list below)

Parents may park/drop off by the Walton Band semi "Big Blue"

Important!! We will have a new parent social on Tuesday, April 19th from 6:30-7:30p. This will be at the top of band practice field in the "D Lot". This is the perfect chance to socialize, meet Walton band parents, and ask any questions!
