Hello OEC PTA Families,

As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we’re inviting members of our community to get involved and help lead the PTA.

After two years of service, Joe Orr-Mulica’s term as President is coming to an end, and we are actively looking for our next President or Co-Presidents to help guide our organization forward.

If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved, this is a great opportunity.
Co-President roles are especially encouraged, as they allow you to share responsibilities and lead as a team.

Membership Chair - Focuses on recruiting members and tracking membership

Fundraising Chair - Leads fundraising efforts and events

Events Chair - Coordinates family events, school programs, and volunteer needs

Class Parent Coordinator - Organizes class parents and helps connect families with teachers

Advocacy Chair - Helps families understand district or school issues and supports PTA advocacy work, goes to BOE meetings and reports back

School Chairs - Focus on the needs of Park or Brookside

Class Parent Chair - Assist with the class parent process

Communications Chair - Helps with emails and text messaging

Social Media Chair - Manages posting and engagement on our social media channels

Wellness Chair - Supports outdoor activities and general wellness initiatives

Technology Chair - Helps with technology resources and digital initiatives

Community Development Chair - Focuses on outreach and engaging all members of our community
