CFAAR Ambassadors Application 2023

Thank you for your interest in the Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research (CFAAR) Ambassadors Program. 

  • When: July 17th- July 21st, 2023 

  • Where: Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center, 303 E Superior St. Chicago, IL 60614. ALL IN-PERSON!  

  • Who: Current high school and undergraduate students

    Undergraduate students: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (freshmen through seniors) 

  • What: The CFAAR Ambassadors Program is a week-long experience at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine that provides high school students with an in-depth introduction to  public health research, medical interventions, advocacy, policy, and health careers.    

The 2023 program will cost $500 per applicant. Selected applicants will pay upon confirming their seat in the 2023 cohort. Selected participants will receive detailed instructions for acceptance requirements. 

Tuition assistance is available!

Application Process Timeline:

February 20th: CFAAR Ambassadors Program Application opens

February- June: Accepting applications

Rolling admissions through June. Applicants will be contacted shortly after their acceptance with next steps.  
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in high school – completed 9th grade through the summer after 12th grade  

Enthusiasm for research and exhibits intellectual curiosity  

Ability to attend program 100% in-person at Northwestern University's Chicago campus
