Our summer closure is coming up soon, and we're looking for volunteers to join us in cleaning, organizing, painting and polishing our beloved building! This summer closure will be from August 20th to September 3rd.

What do I get if I volunteer?

One work study slip per hour of work. A slip is good for a class at the Dance Complex or one hour of rehearsal space.

How many shifts can I have?

Up to two shifts per week. Shifts are a minimum of 2 hours each but can be up to 4 hours.

What will I be doing?

Re-taping floors, weeding the yard, emptying the basement, organizing things, moving furniture, polishing woodwork, painting.... The list goes on and on! Please let us know if you have a physical challenge so that we can find an appropriate task.

What should I wear?

No sandals/bare feet. Comfortable, lightweight clothes that can get dirty.

What if I need to reschedule?

If you can't make a shift you signed up for, please call/text Jayne at 410-562-3271. Do not call the Dance Complex, as no one will be monitoring the phones or voicemail regularly during the closure.

It is very important to be punctual and stay the full 2 hours of your shift. Tasks change hourly and daily depending on how much help we have. If you need to cancel, try to find another 2-hour slot.
