STLGameDev Game Demo Showcase Submission Form
From time to time we have the opportunity to make an appearance at various industry events like conventions or showcases to represent the STLGameDev group as a whole. We would like to be able to share games that were made by members of our community at these events.

If you have a game that you would like us to show off alongside other games - and your game adheres to our guidelines - please fill out this form and we will reach out to you as soon as possible.

Guidelines
In order to make sure that we are able to show off everyone's' games smoothly and fairly, we have some strict guidelines in order for us to consider using a game in our showcase.

Your game must adhere to all of these guidelines before it can be submitted.
  • Your game may be a full game or a shorter demo of a full game.
  • Your game may be released or un-released and it may be a free game or a game for sale, but we will be showing it off for free (we won't charge people to play or nor can we sell your game for you).
  • Your game must work on a low-end Windows computer with a basic gamepad controller without any extremely complicated setup. If your game uses special controls, like mouse/keyboard/touch, consider making a special demo version that can work with a gamepad.
  • Your game must not crash, hang, or need to be closely monitored to ensure it works.
  • Your game must not contain any excessive gore, realistic violence, profanity, nudity, sexual content, or adult themes. It is okay if the full game contains these things, but keep the demo as close to a PG rating as possible.
  • Your game must have a way to quit or exit the game. This can be in a pause window or on the main menu - as long as a player can easily get to wherever it is.
If you have questions or are unsure about your game, reach out to us at demo.submissions@stlgame.dev
