The 2019 Gold Circle Award is given to school and significant volunteer partners based on efforts during the 2018-2019 school year. A Gold Circle Award celebrates the valuable partnerships that schools and volunteer programs have with local businesses. By receiving volunteer and other resource support from organizations in their community, schools are able to balance resources to provide their students with the best educational experience possible.
TO RECEIVE GOLD CIRCLE AWARD(S), THERE ARE FIVE BASIC STEPS TO FOLLOW.
APPLICATION PROCESS. 1. Make sure your school has submitted all expected for the Blue Ribbon Award. (required for all Gold Circle schools) 2. Complete this Gold Circle application and submit it on line. 3. Send in the application fee NOTIFICATION AND EVENT 4. We will notify all schools after review of applications and receipt of fees 5. We will invite all to our November 1st Celebration of Volunteers
STEP ONE - BLUE RIBBON APPLICATION
Please make sure your school has submitted an application and feed for the Blue Ribbon Award. If there are any questions, please confirm with your school principal.
STEP TWO - GOLD CIRCLE LINE APPLICATION
Please answer all of the questions to file your application. - Each on-line application will nominate one partner for a school.- To submit additional partners, submit additional applications for each. - If we don't understand an entry or if there is any missing information, we will email the person submitting this application, as well as the school principal.- Each school applying for a Gold Circle Award must have the appropriate documentation to support the response to each question. NHPIE retains the right to review the documentation upon request.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THIS ON LINE PROCESS- Applications will not be accepted in a different format.- Applications submitted by paper application only will be charged an additional processing fee as determined by NHPIE.
NOTIFICATION- Schools will be notified by email that the application has been received and all information is complete. This email will include specific information regarding payment of fees. Notifications will be sent in September.
STEP THREE - PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE
DETAILS REGARDING APPLICATIONS AND FEES- The $20 application fee is for those applications that are submitted before Labor Day.- Late applications submitted after Labor Day will be expected to pay the higher rate of $40.- Late applications will be accepted at the discretion of the board.- Extremely late applications submitted in late September will be accepted in very few cases. - The application fee will cover up to 5 Gold Circle Partners. If a school has more than 5 partners, a second application and fee must be submitted. This continues to each successive group of 5 partners. There is no limit to the number of partners for a school.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS WILL BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE AFTER NHPIE RECEIVES THE APPLICATION(S) AND FEE(S).
STEP FOUR - AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT- Each 2019 Gold Circle School will be notified by email in the middle of September. - With the notification there will be registration details of the celebration event tentatively scheduled for Friday, November 1st in Concord, NH.- If you have submitted all of your application materials and are not notified by September 15, please contact NHPIE at firstname.lastname@example.org.- It is the responsibility of the Gold Circle School to notify all their Gold Circle Partners of the award notification.
STEP FIVE - REGISTRATION AND A SEAT AT THE EVENT IN OCTOBER- The application fee for the celebration events are separated from the application fees. There was a past practice to provide complimentary seats, but that practice ended with our revision to fees in 2016. - All seats will be available for a reasonable fee, estimated to be $30 each.- It is the responsibility of the school to register all school and partner representatives for the fall event.
APPLICATIONS AND FEES- The $20 application fee is for those applications that are submitted before September 14th.- Applications submitted after September 14 will be expected to pay the higher rate of $40.- Late applications will be accepted at the discretion of the board.- Applications submitted in late September will be accepted in very few cases. - The application process will be considered complete after NHPIE receives the application(s) and application fee(s).
REGISTRATION AND A SEAT AT THE EVENT IN OCTOBER- All seats will be available for a reasonable fee, estimated to be $30 each.- The NHPIE Celebration of Volunteers is scheduled for the morning of Friday, November 1st at the Grappone Conference Center, 70 Constitution Ave, Concord, NH.- Please remember the application fee WILL NOT provide any complimentary seat to the October celebration event.

NHPIE may accept late applications and registration fees at the discretion of the board.
It is understood that this entry will be reviewed by the Principal prior to its submission, and that it represents a true and accurate description of your school's volunteer program. By applying for the Gold Circle Award, it is understood that New Hampshire Partners in Education may ask the school to provide additional information in support of this application.
