September is Suicide Prevention Month and Mancos School District is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students as well as the community. This month, the school will host Suicide Prevention training by a certified QPR Institute instructor. The training is designed to "help you save a life" by teaching three skills: (1) How to question a person about suicide, (2) Persuade someone to get help, and (3) Refer someone to the appropriate resource.

This training is available to interested parents and community members. There are only 20 slots and will be filled by order of registration.

Training will be held in the Mancos High School.
