Time: 9a - 1p daily
Cost: $500/half-day camp OR save $100 and register for both (see OFFER below)
For students in grades: 7 through 12

Camp Description:

This summer math camp will explore the hidden shape of numbers through puzzles, patterns, games, and hands-on activities. Students will investigate prime numbers, number patterns, special right triangles, and surprising ways that numbers can appear in shapes and pictures. Along the way, they will discover how math can be creative, visual, artistic, and fulmystery—not just rules and formulas. This camp is a great fit for students who enjoy solving puzzles, asking “why?”, finding patterns, and seeing math in a new and exciting way. 

About the Instructor: Clyde Kertzer

A recent mathematics graduate from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a focus on number theory, algebra, and cryptographic systems, Clyde Kertzer has conducted research published in Annals of Mathematics, built mathematical visualizations and encryption tools, and has experience tutoring advanced undergraduate topics. Clyde is a math teacher at Tara Performing Arts High School where he teaches 9th grade algebra II, 10th grade Advanced Geometry, 11th grade Algebra II, and 12th grade Calculus. Tara Performing Arts High School is known for its exceptional math program.
