Harrier of the Month Nomination Form
You can nominate an individual who is a member of Hyde Park Harriers for an award at any time for Harrier or the Month. This person will also then be taken forward to the annual awards nominations in the category you nominate them in. Below are the descriptions for the awards - please make sure you are nominating someone for the correct award.
Harrier of the Month in the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫’𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 Category
This award recognises outstanding and/or improved performance of an individual within Hyde Park
Harriers. This can include, but is not limited to:
- Attainment of personal bests
- Overcoming personal/health barriers to running.
- Attendance/effort at races and club events
- Overall improved performance
The final decision for giving this award rests with the Chair.
Harrier of the Month in the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭’𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 Category
This award recognises contribution and commitment of an individual/group to Hyde Park Harriers.
This can include, but is not limited to:
- Organising/development of the club and its activities
- Representing the club in a positive light
- Going above and beyond
The final decision for giving this award rests with the President.
Harrier of the Month in the ‘𝐀𝐢𝐧’𝐭 𝐍𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 Category
This is a discretionary award and will not necessarily be award annually. It will be awarded to
someone who has demonstrated that there truly are no barriers. Any nominations for Chair's or President's will be considered for this award if it is felt that the achievements are truly above and beyond.
Instead of nominating a Harrier for an individual award, you can also send in noteworthy photos or stories for the following:
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐮𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝
This is awarded in memory of Rolf and is for photos that best sum up Hyde Park Harriers, or a great race photo.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐞 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝
This is awarded in memory of Sue, for any stories that are silly, hilarious, muddy, mad, daring or embarrassing!
