2016 The Mission to Seafarers Victoria Annual Maritime Art Awards & Exhibition - Entry Form
The MtSV Annual Maritime Art Awards & Exhibition is a national competition hosted at the Mission to Seafarers Victoria in Docklands, Melbourne. The Exhibition will be open for viewing from 7th October to 21st October, 12pm to 6pm daily.

The Opening Night of the exhibition will be held on Thursday 6th October at 6.30pm.

Entries close at 5pm on 28th August 2016

Prizes
Artists are invited to submit work(s) for:
− The acquisitive ‘ANL Maritime Art Award’ valued at $15,000
− The acquisitive ASP ‘Best in Traditional Maritime Art Award’ valued at $5,000
− The non-acquisitive Bendigo Wealth ‘Emerging Artist Award’ valued at $5,000
− The non-acquisitive Switzer ‘People’s Choice Award’ valued at $2,000
− The non-acquisitive Nevile & co ‘Runners up’ valued at $2,000
− Other commendations in each category may be announced but will not receive a prize
Selection

- All artists will be notified of their submission outcome by email on or before Monday 12th of September 2016 and invited to present and deliver their work to:
‘The Mission to Seafarers Victoria, 717 Flinders Street, Docklands, VIC 3008’ (Melway Ref 43:E10) between
Friday 23rd September & Friday 30th September 2016 only.

- Selected works will be featured following the Opening Night online at www.missiontoseafarers.com.au.

Judging
- Judging for the ANL Art Awards will take place on Monday 3rd October and the winners in each category will be announced at the official opening. Selected artists will be formally invited to attend the Opening of the Maritime Art Award and Exhibition with one guest.
- Decisions made by both the selection and judging panels are final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into regarding this process.
