Private Music Lessons Request Form
Kindergarten through grade 12
Private instrumental lessons occur once a week before, during, or after school, depending on student preferences and teacher availability. Every effort is made to schedule all students who desire to participate.

There are four recitals scheduled throughout the year, and all private lesson students are required to perform in at least one recital per year.

Lessons will begin the first week of October. In order to establish a solid basis for success for both students and teachers, families should understand that lessons are a yearlong commitment. Please think carefully about overall scheduling before signing up.

The Director of Private Lessons Program, Miku Shiota, will contact all parents and students when the final schedules are in place.
Violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, baritone, trombone, tuba, guitar, electric bass, piano, jazz piano, World drums, drum set, and voice.

Piano and violin are offered as early as Kindergarten; other string instruments are offered in first or second grade, depending on student readiness; all other instruments are offered in third grade and on.

Kindergarten through second grade lessons are only offered after school.
Semester bills are sent out twice a year, at a cost of $35 for each weekly 30-minute lesson; $52.50 for weekly 45-minute lessons; $70 for weekly 60-minute lessons.

Payment installment plans are available upon request. Some financial aid is available upon written request; all requests will be reviewed by a committee.

The school has a limited collection of musical instruments that may be rented by students as available, at a cost of $100 per year.
