FREE TWO-DAY WORKSHOP
Educators, join Generation Earth IN-PERSON* to explore environmental issues in Los Angeles County and gain the tools and support necessary to address these challenges with your students. Connect with our staff experts for personalized support on environmental topics and leave with resources to facilitate environmental projects in your classroom.
This two-day workshop will include:
• An in-depth look at sustainable waste and water management solutions
• Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) aligned environmental projects
• A field trip to the Huntington Botanical Gardens
• A live compost demonstration
• Presentations from teachers highlighting their Generation Earth projects
• A resource fair with field trip destinations, lesson ideas and project supplies
• Generation Earth swag giveaways - travel mugs, reusable totes, bamboo utensils and more
When: 7/20/22 and 7/21/22 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
