Notre Dame Summer Camp is open to all sixth through ninth graders. The English, Math, Art, Coding, Design Squad and 20th Century American music provides an opportunity for student enrichment. The New York Experience offers a fun and exciting way for your daughters to discover the city, take part in community activities, and participate in drama exercises, led by actors/actresses from a local theater group.

Morning Session 9AM- 12PM
All classes are 1 hour.

Notre Dame reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient registration.

Description of classes:

English: Students focus on major language art skills and reading strategies.

Math: Students develop their mathematical abilities and prepare for high school level math.

Coding: Students will learn the basics of computer coding, using various platforms and creative approaches.

Art: Students will experiment with a variety of art materials and discuss works of art throughout history.

20th Century American Music: Students will learn about the birth of jazz at the start of the 20th century, its place in the Harlem Renaissance, and trace its growth through World War II and beyond.

Design Squad- Students explore engineering through fun-packed, high energy, hands-on activities. The session will empower students to solve real-world problems and understand the impact of engineering in a global context.

NYC Experience: Students take part in unique field trips, like exploring NYC’s museums, fishing, movies, and the Central Park Zoo and have fun participating in activities such as performance art. Students will engage with their community and discover personal interests.

Notre Dame is to make no refunds on registration deposits. We give permission for our child to take part in all camp activities including camp-sponsored trips away from the camp premises. We authorize ND camp officials to administer first aid and/or take our child to a physician or hospital for emergency treatment in the event it appears necessary and if neither parent (guardian) can be contacted. We accept the responsibility to provide medical/dental insurance to cover our child for any injury that may take place at camp and during any camp related activity. We will not hold Notre Dame School/Camp Program responsible for medical/dental fees, should our child incur any injury at camp or during a camp related activity.

(The meaning of the above is to hold Notre Dame harmless for any expenses not covered by parent or guardian’s insurance policies.) We understand Notre Dame’s statement of Philosophy and are willing to have our child trained in accordance with it. We recognize the camp’s right to dismiss any student who does not respect its spiritual standards cooperate in the educational process.
