Alternative Break 2022 Application
Are you looking for an exciting adventure for Spring Break 2022? Take a look at our Alternative Break 2022! This spring break experience will take a group of Ole Miss students into the wilderness to explore the beauty of the Olympic National Park and Seattle, Washington for a once in a lifetime trip full of service, learning, and adventure! Spend time in the great outdoors, explore one of America's most exciting cities, and create incredible new friendships for an unforgettable Spring Break 2022!

Application Due: Friday, November 12, 2021 by 11:59 PM.

Please Note: The Alternative Break Committee will review applications and contact students to move forward with the process. Students that are contacted will be asked to sign up for an individual interview. Applicants will be contacted before the end of the fall semester for interviews.

Due to limited spaces on the trip, not all applicants will be able to attend the trip. Preference will be given to students who live on campus. You will receive an email notice at the email address you list on the application with the committee's decision.

Trip Details:
- Spring Break 2022 (March 12 -March 19)
- Flying from Memphis, Tennessee to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
- We will spend 3 nights camping in Olympic National Park and 3 nights in the city of Seattle, Washington.
- Community service within Olympic National Park, and city volunteering within the Seattle, Washington area.
- Ample time to explore the area, participate in activities, and see the sights
- Cost: Only $150.00 due in check or money order form on the first pre-trip meeting (All travel, food, lodging and group activities included)

**Mandatory for all participants to attend**: Alternative Spring Break Meetings all meetings will be hosted in the Minor Conference Room, Minor Hall, on Sundays at 6PM.

*Please make note that participants of the Alternative Break trip will be lifting, camping in a tent, completing manual labor and completing community building work with the various service organizations we will be working with/visiting.

All participants must follow any required COVID precautions or local mandates while traveling and at the service locations.
