Ethics & Conflicts of Interest
The NYBPC values fairness and transparency and requires a high ethical standard for all those involved. As a judge at any level of the competition, it is essential that you work to maintain this standard by avoiding any conflict of interest, whether actual or perceived.
I have not mentored with any teams competing at any level in the 2019 NYBPC. *
I will seek to avoid interaction with all teams competing in the 2019 NYBPC until my role as judge in the competition is complete. *
If any ethical concerns arise before, during, or after the competition, I will make them known immediately to the ethics committee at ethics@nybpc.org *
