If you have found this landing page then you have heard about our program that works with UMass students to make a difference in the quality of life for residents of Springfield. We are looking for qualified, detail oriented, interns to help with our Citizen Science program in Springfield. The Citizen Science initiative aims to train residents of Springfield in collecting and analyzing data as well as improving their quantitative skills. It will provide them with the tools they will need to collect field data for important research conducted by researchers with the USDA Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Nature Conservancy, and the Springfield Forestry Department to name a few.
If this sounds like something you are interested in, please fill out a few questions and we will look through your details and see how you can learn while you help out on our team!
