AWSM is thrilled to open registration for our 2026 convention co-sponsored by Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The conference will be held Aug. 9-11 in Los Angeles. We will host an opening gathering at a Sparks game on Sunday, Aug. 9, then will kick off two days of workshops and collaboration at ASU's California Center Broadway. Participants also will be invited to attend a Dodgers game and a special closing night party on Aug. 11.
During the conference, AWSM will recognize its Mary Garber Pioneer Award, Ann Miller Service Award and Chapter of the Year Award winners along with our AWSM Scholars. Keynote speakers will be announced soon.
Thanks to our sponsors, AWSM is offering its lowest conference registration rate in recent history. Registration costs $100 for professional members and $85 for student members. For those who are not AWSM members or ASU students, registration costs $200 for professionals and $170 for students.
