Coaches Workshop with Mike Barrell
Note: Coaches, this workshop will count towards USPTA education credits.
Topic: Court Warrior
In this workshop, coaches will explore ways to develop tactical and competitive skills with young players. By presenting the game in a developmental way, the workshop will help young players to develop a greater on-court awareness, learn what to focus on, and be ready to deal with the challenges that an adversarial game like tennis can bring. Along the way, Mike will highlight key technical points that must be covered at each stage of a player's development, within the practices. Coaches will leave with a copy of the Evolution Court Warrior Manual and a host of ideas and practices for working with young players.
