RUN-EU | WHAT IS IT?

RUN-EU is a Regional University Network, led by Politécnico de Leiria, composed of higher institutions from 6 European countries to promote and develop joint student-centered, challenge, and work-based flexible learning activities. There are four main management structures and  Student Advisory Board is one of them!

RUN-EU was selected by European Commission within the European Universities Initiative to promote European values and identity, and revolutionizing the quality and competitiveness of European higher education.

STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD (SAB) | WHAT IS THE ROLE?

1. STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD will strategically advise the work of RUN_EU management, with an emphasis on the student engagement activities, inclusion, and multiculturalism;
2. STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD will be responsible for the implementation and format of the mobility innovative programs, Short-Advanced Programs, and Collaborative European Degrees.
3. STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD will work both at an institutional/regional level as well as a European level (RUN-EU).


STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD (SAB) |  HOW MANY MEMBERS AND WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT INVOLVED?

At the regional level, the local SAB will be composed of 15 students (10 national and 5 international students from outside Europe) and will meet every six months to review and advise on the RUN-EU strategy, achievements, and its impact at the institutional level. Besides the importance of the SAB in advising RUN-EU, the RUN-EU there will be an annual student week that will be used as a venue to promote multiculturalism and multilingualism, in a unique International, diverse and inclusive environment.
