STANFORD IN FOOD & AG - NYC
In 2018, Stanford Alumni created the Stanford Alumni in Food & Ag group to connect the alumni community active or interested in food and agriculture. We are pleased to announce an event in New York City, to connect and inspire individuals interested or involved in the food and ag community here in the region. All alumni are encouraged to come together on the evening of Tuesday, October 22nd to engage in a conversation with four leaders in Food & Ag.

Our event will feature a conversation among Stanford alumni and four wonderful guests including:

Liz Carlisle, Stanford lecturer in the School of Earth. Energy, and Environmental Sciences focused on sustainable food and agriculture, and Bob Quinn, a leading farmer and voice in the regenerative food movement, who are co-authors of Grain By Grain: A Quest to Revive Ancient Wheat, Rural Jobs, and Healthy Food.

Rajiv Singh, former CEO of Rabobank's North America Wholesale Banking, currently co-founder and co-chairman of Foodshot Global, an innovative investment platform funding "moonshots for better food."

Julie Wurfel, former CEO of New York's premium organic pasta company Sfoglini, previously Vice President of Business Expansion at FreshDirect and advisor to many of the most innovative start-ups in the sustainable food world.
