Vigilance Safety is developing a technical solution to improve school safety and reduce casualites caused by school shootings. Our solution involves the secure adhesion of proximity tags to guns on a voluntary basis, free of charge. These tags can be detected by proximity tag scanners installed on school property, notifying the school of potential threats before a shooting occurs. (The tags do not track the guns. They are only detected when within range of a school.)
