Guiding Good Choices (GGC) is a national, research-based program for parents of kids ages 9-14. Over the course of 5 weeks you will learn to:
  • Strengthen family bonds
  • Improve communication
  • Handle conflict healthily
  • Help children avoid risky behaviors
This FREE program contains 5 classes, with an average session length of 2 hours each week.
Children ages 9+ are asked to attend the 4th session that teaches peer resistance skills otherwise this is a class for parents.

Dinner will be provided at each session. Couples who attend will receive a $25 stipend per class to help offset childcare costs. Stipends are issued by check after the completion of all five classes. Couples who attend all five sessions may receive a total stipend of up to $125.

Each class is limited to 12 couples. Registration will close one week before the class start date or when the class reaches capacity, whichever comes first. Because occasional cancellations occur, additional registrations may be accepted and placed on a waitlist.
