A note about coach positions:
We are seeking several COACHES as well as several VOLUNTEER COACHES. The main difference between these two categories is the specific time commitment you are willing to make, and payment you will receive.
In order to be considered for a COACH position, you will be asked to provide an attendance commitment prior to the season. You choose the frequency of this commitment (varying from 1x to 4x per week) and then you will earn the corresponding stipend (varying from $100 to $400) at the end of the season if you fulfill that commitment, which works out to approximately $11-$14 per hour.
We don't expect 100% attendance but there will be a minimum attendance expectation if you seek a paid position. The Track Club will need you coaching most of the practice sessions you commit to.
On the other hand, VOLUNTEER coaches have no minimum commitment, no attendance requirement, and there is no stipend. Depending on your summer schedule, you may prefer to be a VOLUNTEER COACH and help in practices and/or meets as your time allows.
