2024 Space Entrepreneur Summer Academy (SESA) Application Form
The 2024 Space Entrepreneur Summer Academy (SESA) is a program for high school students hosted by Expanding Frontiers, a non-profit organization that provides novel educational experiences and hands-on training for students, veterans, and aspiring entrepreneurs that will create and accelerate the growth of an innovation ecosystem in Brownsville, Texas with emphasis on space and energy technologies.

The summer academy has two components: space exploration and entrepreneurial opportunities in NewSpace. We will learn from lectures and discussions with NASA experts, retired NASA engineers, thought leaders of NewSpace, SESA alumni who are now professionals, and business people from across the nation who are exploring the possibilities of NewSpace. You’ll participate in a variety of hands-on activities and industry simulating projects. The academy will culminate with your NewSpace Company business pitch to NewSpace experts.

The academy will be a packed three weeks of learning, sharing, and fun as we progress through the activities and network with a community of people interested in space exploration technologies that will transform our region and the future of all humanity. This years Space Entrepreneur Summer Academy will be having an integration with a NASA Tech Trek Program. There will be specific events to attend during this years SESA. A Schedule will be provided when you sign up.

Expanding Frontiers headquarters located at 495 Amelia Earhart Drive, Suite A in the historic Pan Am building, Brownsville TX 78521.  

Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the Pan Am Building each day.  Free parking is available.
