Gilroy Presbyterian Church Day Camp 2025 CILT Application (Camper In Leadership Training)

Thank you for being interested in working with Gilroy Presbyterian Church's Summer Day Camp. By submitting this form, you have turned in your application online. All applications must be received by March 31st, 2025.

To be a CILT you must attend all training dates:  April 13th, April 27th, and May 4th, (from 11:30-1:30) , a minimum of 1 prep shifts which will be held over a few weekends of May and June (details to follow),  first week of camp: June 16-20  and Day Camp Sunday on June 29th.

Come join us for a week of fun, games, music, special activities, group challenges, and engaging Bible huddles. We are looking for dynamic, engaging, empathetic, and a fun staff who love God and are wanting to serve Him by working with kids.

What are a CILT's Responsibilities?
- Report to your Counselor and/or the CILT Director
- Model your faith to younger children
- Help a counselor supervise a small group (4-6 campers)
- Assist in all group activities

Who can apply?
Students:
- entering grades 7-9
- that have accepted Christ as their Savior
- growing in their walk with God
- willing to follow camp rules
- willing to listen to counselors, Assistant Directors and Director
- able to make all the dates including staff training

What are the Mandatory Dates for GPC Day Camp this year?
Pre-employment:  
- Applications due by Monday March 31st. (no late applications will be accepted or reviewed)
- Notifications of employment via email will be sent out by Wednesday April 2nd.
- Acceptance of employment must be received by Sunday April 6th

Staff Trainings:
- Sunday April 13th 11:30 - 1:30pm
- Sunday April 27th 11:30 - 1:30pm
- Sunday May 4th 11:30 - 1:30pm

Prep shifts:
You must work a minimum of 1 prep shift:
5/18: 1pm-4pm
5/31: 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm
6/1: 1pm-4pm
6/7: 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm 
6/8: 12pm-3pm
6/14: 9-12am, 1-4pm
**Prep shifts and times are subject to change up until 5/15

Day Camp
- Primary Camp: June 16th-20th, 8:00 am -1:00 pm
- Day Camp Sunday: June 29th, 8:15 am - 1:30 pm
