As with joining any UK sports league, you the Referee will have to provide certain personal information within your application form. This information is collected, held and forwarded to the FA (where necessary) and used in communication vital to the functioning of the league and its teams.

GDPR UK/EC Law
The holding and use of personal information is subject to a recent update in UK/EC law (GDPR). Whilst MSJL has created  policies and declarations to adhere to GDPR (available on its website) it is a requirement that the league has your consent to the use of the submitted personal data.

What You Need to Do Now
Read the consent declaration below then add details of your Name and Tick the box.  This consents to the League using your email and phone details for fixture confirmation etc. If you are under 18 years of age, please add your parents details and consent.

The MSJL requires all the below information for legitimate & lawful reasons and it will be retained within the League, stored in a safe & secure place, with limited access by named individuals only, and it will not be disclosed to outside sources, exempting legitimate requests from FA & law enforcement authorities or medical professionals, in the event of an emergency. It will be protected against any unauthorised or illegal access by internal or external parties. 

We require your consent to collect and retain this information. Please sign the box below to indicate your consent and that you understand that these records will be held securely on file for the duration of your membership with the League and thereafter for a reasonable period (in accordance with the law and league published policy), after which they will be destroyed. 

At any stage you can request that we modify, erase, reduce or correct any data however that might result in
nullifying your membership of MSJL should it result in the League being unable to function.
