Sketchpad Comedy 2017
For 2 1/2 years, we've achieved most of our goals. We are trying to figure out where to go in 2017 and beyond. This survey will be used to help us make sure we are achieving goals that are important to you. Thank you for your help!
Did you participate in any STL Sketchpad Show over the last 2 1/2 years?
If so, how would you rate your overall experience and view of STL Sketchpad & Sketchpad Comedy?
Eh, I could've done without it
It helped me grow as a writer, comedian and/or artist
If you didn't participate, why?
Whether you participated or not, do you plan on participating in an STL Sketchpad Show in 2017?
For 2 years we've done 1 show a month, do you believe we do:
Too many shows
Just enough shows
Not enough Shows
For 2017, for you, would it be more beneficial to: (click as many as apply)
Keep doing what we are doing currently (anyone is welcome, we have 1 month to prep for a live show)
Switch to doing less frequent but higher quality shows (more rehearsal time, better quality content, etc)
Stop doing live shows and help the community develop video
Do a mix of video and live sketches
Help the community/you learn something new (movie/play scripts, Youtube series, etc)
Do more of what we already do
Do you tell your friends about Sketchpad?
If we offered classes that taught sketch comedy writing/performing would you be interested in taking them? (check as many as apply)
Yes, if independently done
Yes, if done with/at The Improv Shop
No, it's not really of interest to me
Yes, if there's a video sketch class
Yes, but only if online - not live
Maybe, depends on price
Improv classes at The Shop are $215. Sketch writing classes at Second City (Chicago) are $340. If we offered classes at 8 weeks for 3 hours a week (like both do above) what would a fair price be?
None - I wouldn't be able/willing to pay for writing classes
This is about content we've created (ebooks, articles, etc). Did you read any content Sketchpad created over the last 2 1/2 years?
Yes, but just a few articles/ebooks
I didn't know that you wrote content
If we create more content, write books, publish articles would you read them?
Which one of these is true to you?
I don't really care about reading content
I often find content useful and it's important that more exists
I could take or leave content
I wish I could contribute to writing content for other people
Do you believe that Sketchpad has: (click as many as apply)

Taught skills of collaboration and creativity that can be used outside of comedy?
Helped multiple people get a new career/job?

Helped the community (outside of comedy)?
Made St. Louis a better place?
Lastly, if Sketchpad Comedy stopped would it effect you personally? Why?
