I understand I will only be contacted by the Regional Program Co-ordinator to move on to next steps if I am successful through the initial screening stage.
Within seven days of the screening interview, the interviewing Regional Program Co-ordinator will contact the applicant with the outcome of the interview. Successful applicants will be offered a spot in an upcoming Volunteer Facilitator workshop (subject to favourable references.) Prior to attending the Volunteer Facilitator workshop, applicants must complete the following steps: (Please check off each point to acknowledge that you have read and understand)
Visit your local police station or RCMP detachment to obtain a police information check *with vulnerable sector check and submit to the Regional Program Co-ordinator

As a Volunteer Facilitator applicant, I understand that:
There is a minimum requirement of 10 participants per Volunteer Facilitator workshop.
Applicants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation and meals for the workshop.
The Volunteer Facilitator workshop is 8 hours in length.
That pre-work is required prior to the Volunteer Facilitator workshop.
Full attendance and participation is required at the Volunteer Facilitator workshop.
Following successful completion of the Volunteer Facilitator workshop, candidates will start a probationary period which will typically involve co-facilitating a minimum of three workshops with an experienced facilitator. Once the Regional Program Co-ordinator (and candidate) are confident the candidate is competent to deliver the workshop alone, their file will be signed off accordingly.
I understand that the Little Warriors Volunteer Facilitator Application is a staged process. Successful completion of each stage illustrated above is required prior to moving on to the next part of the application process.
